In case you missed Zumtobel at Light + Building 2018

Light has entered the digital age. It can be controlled wirelessly and reacts automatically to the environment using sensors. This was presented to a wide audience at this year's Light + Building in Frankfurt. Visitors at the Zumtobel Group stand were able to experience various examples of Zumtobel’s Active Light approach and more across 1,280 square metres – innovative, smart and tailored to people's needs.

One of the highlights of this year’s Light + Building was the ceremony for the Zumtobel Group Award winners. The winners of the established architecture prize were ceremoniously honoured with around 200 guests at a festive gala dinner on 19th March. The award that comes with a total of 165,000 Euros in prize money goes to forward-looking concepts and developments that contribute to improved quality of life and sustainability in the built environment and its design. The winners Ben van Berkel (Netherlands), Michael Maltzan (USA), Arturo Vittori (Italy) and Zhang Li (China) were there to personally receive the award.

The celebrations continued on 20th March when the Zumtobel Group stand party took place. Over 7’000 bottles of beer and about 4’000 Cocktails were served to the guests in this evening.
