Part of his presentation was dedicated to the project of revitalization of the Masaryk Railway Station in Prague. Mag.Arch. Jakub Klaška leads the international team preparing the overall revitalization of the railway station. The project will be implemented in several stages with planned completion in 2022-2025 and will offer up to 100,000 m2 of new office space, shops, restaurants and cafes. The total investment will be 400 million EUR. Great attention is paid to public areas, greenery and city parks. The proposed unique roofing should then provide a new interconnection of Prague city center with neighbouring city districts.

Other projects presented during the evening, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, included the KAPSARC research center based in Saudi Arabia, the Port House headquarters in Antwerp, the Morpheus hotel in Macau in China and residential building 520 West in New York . All these projects combine smooth lines that add amorphous shapes to buildings, which is also one of the typical elements of Zaha Hadid's work.

“The event which brings to our showroom such big audience from architectural community gives us great occasion to strengthen our brand position of Zumtobel among them and create new business opportunities,” adds Rudolf Staricky, General Manager CEE.
